Scientel Solutions - Full Rebrand and Website

Scientel Solutions needed to rebrand their company so that their own brand could accurately portray their own incredible innovations. We first developed a new visual identity and core value message so that their capabilities and solutions could shine with a new look and sound. Shortly after creating the brand identity, we then designed and built a website so that their services and solutions had a sleek environment for their clientele to explore online.

A Brand New Website

Scientel Solutions needed a new website to match their new brand. Because Scientel has many different solution areas, it was important for me to take part in all of our initial discovery sessions with the client so that I could begin how to best represent their services visually in a website environment. Once I better understood the solutions and company, I was able to begin designing page content, as well as supporting visuals to accompany the topics. It was challenging to figure out how to best depict some areas - as some products, like “Network Capacity” isn’t something you can actually see, so I had to explore interpretations using a blend of graphics and photography.

As the lead Art Director on this website project start to finish, my responsibilities begun with working alongside our Copywriter to think about information hierarchy, followed by site wireframing. Based off of the wireframes, I then created fully fleshed out page layouts, running them by our Creative Director before we presented them to our client for approval. During the last phase of development/quality assurance, I communicated frequently with our in-house developer to ensure website responsiveness and request & formalize UX elements.

Digital Depictions

Knowing that Scientel Solutions is tech forward but also not possible without the smart humans behind it, I incorporated a new visual style that mixed flat design with photography - to reiterate the cross over between people and digital. The image to the left represented “Smart Cities.”

Brand Assets

With over 50 different solutions and specialties combined, there were a lot of assets to be updated before Scientel’s new brand launch. We knew that a very necessary tool for all company communications - print & digital - was an ownable icon system. I created the icon aesthetic, and another Art Director on my team helped to execute out the rest of the library. I also designed Ebook & Newsletter templates in the new brand look and feel.
